To enter the building without a key:
Press the bell outside (last one down on the left side) and hold for 10 seconds; the door will open automatically

Apartment door is the one on the right;
Lockbox code for keys is 1996;
You can always use the lockbox if you don’t want to carry the keys around with the risk of losing it!

To open the internal court you will find small keys on the table or on the shelf over there.
IMPORTANT always lock the door of the courtyard when you’re not in the apartment.

Tap water is good to drink since the Roman Empire – do like the Romans!

VERY SENSITIVE DRAIN SYSTEM – HISTORIC BUILDING PLUMBING

You are staying in a 16th-century Roman building with a very delicate drainage system. Unlike modern hotels, the pipes cannot handle large amounts of paper.
➡ Use the toilet for TOILER PAPER ONLY and in small quantities.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT FLUSH:
wipes, paper towels, tissues, sanitary products, hair, food, or any objects.

Anything else will block the system immediately and may cause flooding and expensive damage. Failure to follow this rule can block the entire building’s system.
