KITCHEN

Gas switch it’s on the wall next to the window

In case of an electrical black-out
In case a loose of power/electricity occurs don’t panic, we got you!
Main switch is located behind the sunflower painting (looking at the apartment door on the left side)
In case of a temporary black-out the main switch will be down, flip it UP to turn it back ON;
In case the main switch it’s already UP it means it’s a building problem and electricity will come back soon

HEATING/THERMOSTAT
Located above the kitchen sink – please contact me via whatsapp before touching anything here
I will assist you to set it according to your needs

AIR CONDITIONING
You will find 2 remote controls for a/c inside the apartment, you can use them to control each and all of the a/c (one in every room).
To SET the MODE + TEMPERATURE you can choose between:
☀️HEAT MODE / 24-30°C
❄️AIR CONDITIONING / 15-20°C
💧ANTI HUMIDITY / 18-24°C
A – AUTO (not recommended)

Then ADJUST the FAN so that you will have more/less blowing according to your need

DISH WASHER
Pods are located below the kitchen sink

1. Buttons & Knob – what is what
🔘 ON / OFF
Button on the left
Press once to turn the dishwasher ON
Press again to turn it OFF

🔄 PROGRAM KNOB (the round knob in the middle)
You turn this to choose the wash program.
Programs:
Intensive – very dirty pots, pans
Normal – everyday dishes
Soak / Pre-wash – no detergent, just rinsing
Eco – lower energy & water, longer time (recommended daily use)
Rapid 35’ – quick wash for lightly dirty dishes
👉 For normal daily use: Program 4 (Eco)
👉 If you’re in a hurry: Program 5 (Rapid 35 min)

2. How to start a wash (step by step)
Load the dishes
Put dishwasher detergent in the detergent compartment
Turn the ON/OFF button on
Turn the program knob to the program you want (e.g. 4 – Eco)
Make sure no delay is selected (unless you want it)
Press START / PAUSE
Close the door → the wash begins

3. Indicator lights (right side)
⭐ (star light) → Rinse aid is low
❄️ / salt symbol → Dishwasher salt is low 

These don’t stop the machine, but you should refill when they turn on.
4. When the cycle is finished
The indicator reaches END
Open the door slightly and let steam out
Turn OFF the machine

Quick recommendation (easy life mode – HIGLY RECCOMENDED!!!!)
👉 Use Eco (4) most of the time


👉 Use Rapid 35’ (5) when dishes are lightly dirty


👉 Avoid Intensive unless really needed

WASHING MACHINE
We don’t have a washing machine inside the apartment/building
The closest wash&dry spot is located 3 min walk from the apartment (check on the Live-Like-A-Local map online)
